A collective of some of Portland’s funk stars, Vintage Soul is a Gladys Knight’s former drummer, Brian Foxworth, hall-of-fame bassist Ben Jones, local hostshot Chance Hayden on guitar and lastly, all the way from New Oreleans, Steve Kaer on keyboards. SPECIAL NOTE: this band is uncontrollably loud… we try to wrestle control and can’t get it. It is so much fun that people will be dancing (the only band that inspires this at Tavern), but they are more of a night club show than a dinner act.
